Personality: Alwin doesn't really have the heart to fight back against others, whether it be his father, his uncle, or really anyone. Because of this, he holds in a lot; he's taken up drinking to get through some days. He doesn't let his uncle see though; he's afraid of what may come of it.
Backstory: Alwin Verd, Jr. is the son of an acclaimed Subrosian soldier and his sweetheart. When he was 16, his father sent him off to work for his uncle, Rasul Gren. Honestly, Alwin hates blacksmithing. He's good at it, sure, but he doesn't enjoy it. However, being unwilling to admit this to others, he stubbornly stuck through it. He doesn't hate Rasul; the man's grown on him; but he has some ire for Rasul based on his inability to make his wants known.
