Squad 6, which included Lucas, Keiko and Finn along with their squad captain and a few others, rode pretty close to the back of the relatively compact formation. After ten minutes of riding southward they still hadn't seen any titans.
"Wow, if only the outside world was always this peaceful," Lucas said to the other members in his squad. The skies were clear, the sun was shining and the wind was blowing gently through the green grass.

Keiko and buttercup raced to the front and caught up with Lucas. She took a good lookout for Titans as her fingers were itching for a fight.

"Don't get too carried away now, Keiko," Lucas tells her, knowing how excited she tends to become when she sees a titan. When he looks to his right he spots something on the horizon. "What the..." he mumbles to himself. "Is that a group of humans over there?" he then asks the others in his squad. Their squad captain looks too, squinting as he watches in the direction Lucas had pointed in.
"I don't think so," the squad captain replies after a couple of seconds. "It's hard to tell from this distance, but... I think that's a group of four or five smaller titans! Squad 6, we can take them on. Charge!" Lucas follows his captain's orders and rides wit his horse quickly in the direction of the relatively small titans. When the group comes closer they can see that it's definitely titans. Five of them that are two to three meters tall. With that size Lucas figured they ought to be able to kill one each. He circulates around the titan group, figuring out how he could start his assault in a good way. Luckily these titans were all fairly slow, so it was easy to avoid them as long as they were on horseback.

Keikos adrenaline was spiking, her heart rate was racing, her pupils constricted. She couldn't wait for orders, she had to go in hard. She rode in on Buttercup and went straight for the kill. The other members if the squad call out to her, but Keiko's in kill mode. No one can stop her. She shot her horizontal launcher at a Titan and went flying through the air, the speed, The Thrill, The Wind in her hair, she liked-- No, LOVED it a lot. She took her machetes and whipped herself around with such speed, it looked like a dust devil ripped the Titan's head clear off its body. She landed right in the middle of the Titan horde, reeled back, and let out of war cry to the sky. "YEAH!! WHO WANTS SOME!"

"Oh no, not again," Lucas says under his breath when he sees Keiko surrounded by the four remaining titans. He uses his vertical manoeuvring gear to fly off his horse and aim to kill two of the titans with one swing since they were so close together now and distracted by Keiko. Lucas successfully cuts deep through the neck of the first titan he aimed for and continues onward to slice a second titan to death, however, he lost momentum on the way and didn't manage to cut quite deep enough on the second one. He landed in the grass and saw the three titans remaining. Two of them were going after Keiko and the one Lucas had failed to kill was coming for him. "Oh shit..." Lucas thought to himself. He saw their squad captain was riding in his direction so Lucas leapt toward the titan that was going after him and managed to slice off one of its feet, causing it to trip forward. The squad captain then swept in and finished it off my slicing the back of its neck.
"Nice assist!" the squad captain shouts over to Lucas. But Lucas was looking over in Keiko's direction. She was in a pretty bad situation, with the two remaining titans approaching her from different sides and her horse was not nearby.

"Let's do this!" Finn yelled, charging in at the titans. He saw Keiko wasn't sitting pretty with two titans closing in on her. He felt a smile creep on his face as his adrenaline began pumping through his veins. He brought his leg up and leapt from his horse, firing his ODM gear into the shoulder of one of the titans. He lurched forward and spun around the titan, gaining momentum. He cut clear through the titan's nape with a swift slash of his blades. He released his gear and fired another shot directly at the other titan's face. Moving quickly, he lodged his blades deep in the titan's eyes and jumped away before the titan could have a chance of grabbing him. "It's all your," he shouted at Keiko.

The Titan took his long burly arms, clawing at Keiko as she flipped, and dodged each attack the Titan had with acrobatic ease. Each time the Titan lunged for her, Lucas held his breath fearing the worst. Another twirling jump, with a conceited smile on her face, out of nowhere the Titan grabbed her in mid air, snapping a rib. She bit her lip and fought back the pain, and held back her tears. With the Titan looming over her with a frozen grin, their eyes met. Even in her Peril she still smiled back. "You don't scare me, even if you were ten times bigger!", she said taunting the Titan.
Jack charged at the Titan on his horse, calling out for her, "I got your back Keiko!" Jack used his gear and hustled to Keiko's aid, slicing the Titan's hand, freeing her. The Titan staggers back, Keiko shoots her gear on the Titan's shoulder and launched herself up above the beast, and sliced his nape of its neck in a fatal blow. Keiko landed and collapsed to the ground, she got back up holding her chest, smiling as if nothing was wrong.

Also, one thing for you to just keep in mind for the future, Kate, is to not give actions or lines to other people's characters. It wasn't too serious here, but I just want you to know.  )) Lucas lets out a sigh of relief. "We did it," he said in a calm voice. "Is everyone alright? No one got hurt, did they?" He looks around at everybody. |

((Okie Dokie, Storm did that to my character on the Real life Role play so I thought it was okay.))
Buttercup sees Keiko and trots over to her. Keiko hobbles to her horse, when she tries to get up on Buttefcup, the pain in her ribs is to overbearing. She covers her face, and turns away from Lucas, hoping he didn't see her just now.

((Oh I getcha. If Storm did that he wasn't making a good example right there. Anyway, now you know. ^^))
Squad 6 starts riding back toward the rest of the survey corps. As they do Lucas starts riding alongside Keiko. "Are you sure you're okay there?" he asks her. "You seemed to struggle getting onto Buttercup back there."

Deux was part of squad 6, but didn't end up fighting. His equipment had a problem. He didn't talk to the others too much as they walked back to the survey corps.

With a shaky and forced voice tried to sound normal as possible. "Y-yes Lucas. Thanks, but I don't need any help." The galloping horse wasn't making the discrete situation any easier. "Buttercup please," She said to the horse, as she hunched over resting her head on the back of the mare's, "c-could you walk a little less bouncy?"

Lucas notices Keiko's shaky voice and knows that something isn't quite right. Knowing how Keiko is though, Lucas decides not to push the matter any further. Instead he decides to keep an extra close eye on Keiko during this mission and make sure she doesn't do anything stupid. He looks worried though he tries not to show that.
"Dammit!" the squad captain suddenly exclaims. "I think we've lost the rest of the scouts. Lucas, fire a smoke signal so the others can see it and respond so we can see where they are!" Lucas follows the order and fires a smoke signal straight up into the air. However, their signal isn't answered. They see no response signal anywhere. Even five minutes later there's no sign of the other squads of the Survey Corps. Their squad captain seems to be getting more stressed out by the minute as he realizes how screwed they are If they encounter titans larger than the small ones they just killed. Lucas is growing very worried too, but he is much quieter about it than their captain is.
