For World of Fire Emblem and World of StarCraft, there are a number of classes you can choose from:
World of StarCraft:
Civilian: A general description used for non-combatants. They can choose occupations not listed below, but can't fight or use a lot of equipment or machinery.
Commander: A general description used to describe generals and other high-ranked officials. They often have a secondary class, which allows them to join the fray. This is a controlled class. If you would like to use one, contact DekuNut.
Dragoon (Protoss Only): A long-ranged ground unit that focuses on airbound opponents.
Firebat (Terran Only): A Terran infantry unit who uses flamethrowers, instead of the more common bullet weapons.
Ghost (Terran Only): A ninja-like infantry unit with the ability to go invisible. They prefer stealth and espionage to all-out combat.
Goliath (Terran Only): Two-legged mechs that act as mobile anti-aircraft weaponry.
Marine (Terran Only): Basic Terran soldiers who wield assault weaponry.
Medic (Terran Only): Terran doctors with some combat training. While they rarely fight, they can save some of their allies on and off the battlefield.
Protoss Pilot (Protoss Only): Protoss pilots have the ability to fire Arbiters, Carriers, Corsairs, Scouts,
Protoss Roboticist (Protoss Only): A protoss roboticist that focuses on building drones like Infiltrators, Observers, Probes, Reavers, Shuttles, and other such contraptions. They often act as support on Carriers, to repair damaged infiltrators in the midst of battle. They also tend to repair ships and other equipment.
Science Vessel Commander (Terran Only): A high-ranking scientist with advanced radar and detection technologies. However, they have no skill in combat. Many of them cybernetically advance their own bodies. However, this is highly experimental and very dangerous.
SCV (Terran Only): A Terran mech pilot who's trained as a mechanic. They're jack of all trades who can build buildings, collect resources, and repair equipment. They can also fight, but have to make due with using their repair tools.
Siege Tank (Terran Only): A heavy-duty Terran tank that's quite proficient at mowing down ground troops.
Terran Pilot (Terran Only): A Terran unit trained to operate simple Terran ships, such as Battlecruisers and Valkyries. Less combat-oriented pilots would focus on piloting Dropships.
Vulture (Terran Only): Terran scouts who ride on gravity-defying motorcycles and carry smartbombs known as "Spider Mines".
Wraith (Terran Only): The airship version of a Ghost, these pilots are differentiated from regular pilots because they are often trained as dogfighters as well.
Zealot (Protoss Only): A basic Protoss soldier who wields blades made of psychic energy.

BASE CLASSES
Barbarian - Barbarians rely on their strength alone, overpowering their opponents with brute force. They wield axes.
Cavalier - A horse-mounted soldier who wields swords and lances. When they achieve advanced skill and renown, they become Paladins or Great Knights.
Knight - An armored unit that can take any attacks thrown at them. They wield lances. When they achieve skill and renown, they can become Generals or Great Knights.
Myrmidon - A sword-wielding class that focuses more on speed and skill than raw strength. As their skill improves, they can become swordmasters or Assasains.
Thief - A class that wields swords, but isn't the best at combat. Thieves prefer to act as scouts or pickpocket their enemies whole theyre distracted. Over time, they evolve into Tricksters or Assasains.
PROMOTED CLASSES
Assasain - Thieves and Myrmidons who excel in killing others become Thieves. They have great knowledge of pain and punishment. Morally dubious, they wield swords and bows.
General - An armored unit that used lances and axes. They're advanced knights who have risen up the ranks to the position of leading entire legions.
Great Knight - An advanced Cavalier or Knight who can wield any melee weapon known to man. They offset their heavy armor by riding horses, who can better deal with the excess weight. They're usually leaders of an entire army.
Paladin - A high-ranking mounted unit that wields swords and lances. They're sworn directly to a master, whether they be a noble or a god.
Swordmaster - An advanced Myrmidon who has become an unparalleled master of the blade. The only true competition for a Swordmaster is another Swordmaster.
Trickster - Advanced versions of Thieves, Tricksters have chosen to become Swindlers rather than flat-our robbers. They're quite charismatic, and usually take on a more support than combat role in group settings. They wield swords and staves.
