Kaless was leaning against a stone building in Ylisstol, the capital city of Ylisse. He gazed out into the bustling street with a look of sorrow. This sorrow was caused by his loneliness, he has been lonely for a long time, but now it is getting to him. The blue hair of his was fluttering in the wind as he messed with his dragon stone in his left hand. He was a divine dragon, the most powerful type of Manakete.

Malachi strolled down the street of the capitol, bulldozing anyone who didn't step out of his way. He brushed past Kaless, who was innocently leaning up against the wall, just for spite making him stumble over. Malachi smirked and didn't loose a tempo of his pace.

Malachi made Kaless almost fall, but he caught his self, "The hell was that for?" he called towards Malachi as he ran after him. His dragonstone was still in his hand, he wasn't afraid to use it if need be.

Malachi peered back at him and scoffed. "You were in my way, if you won't move I'll move you myself." Just as he said that, not a step out of rhythm a man chatting with his friends was standing in Malachi's path. When he didn't move, Malachi shoved him out of the way, and kept walking. "Get lost kid," he called back to Kaless, "I don't have time for losers like you."

"Oy! Kaless!" Lin'zhay calls from behind. "There you are! I finally found you. I've been searching all over." She runs up to him and catches her breath. Then she notices the stranger Kaless had been talking to before she arrived. "Hmm, who's that?" she asks Kaless with a curious expression.

Before Kaless could react to Malachi's words, he heard a voice behind him. When he turned around it revealed the voice was Lin'zhay's. "Oh, hey there, I really don't know that person, he randomly pushed me over," he said. He looked down at his dragonstone in his hand, "So what are you doing?"

"I was looking for you because there's something we need to talk about..." Lin'zhay responds, still trying to catch her breath. "But we need to be alone. We can't let anyone else hear it," she said in a quieter tone.

Tennor made his way down the street. He'd been here for a few months now, but he still didn't quite fit in. The customs were different. So was the culture. Hell, even the names. Worst of all... the dragons. Most of them were gone, especially his people. Sure, there were still some around, and they'd always been a rare breed, but he knew how capable of surviving manaketes could be. And yet, somehow, most of them had died. Naga. Duma. Medeus. It was hard to believe how many of his kind had met violent ends. Sure, there were still some around. He'd met a boy by the name of Kaless once or twice, but the two had barely talked. There was also one name that had reached his ears that he recognized - Tiki. She had been a young girl when he first knew her, before she was sealed away. But, with everything going on at the time, that had been for the best. The humans had begun seeing dragons of all sorts as their enemies, and without Lady Naga around, there were few who even came close to the amount of potential within Tiki. Nobody to teach her. It had been safest for her to do what was done. He still had yet to see her though - and, even though it felt like yesterday to him, he couldn't be sure the child would remember him. Or... at this point, she wasn't a child any longer. Which really weirded him out. He'd expected to be much older by the point she'd reached maturity, but she was now older than him. That didn't seem right. He tried not to dwell on it too much. Wondering for something to do, Tennor noticed Kaless not far away. He considered walking towards the boy, but it seemed like he was in the middle of conversation. He wasn't sure who with.

A look of worry flooded Kaless's face when Lin'zhay spoke. He quickly grabbed her hand and ran dragging her along. He headed towards his current hotel which was around the corner. He ran past Tennor and didn't pay much attention to him. Once inside the hotel Kaless went to his room pulling Lin'zhay with him. He then locked the door and looked at her.

"Oh... I'm sorry if I made you worried. It wasn't my intention," Lin'zhay says when she sees Kaless' face expression. Her own face expression changes into one of joy and slight guilt when she pulls out a very peculiar looking key from her pocket and holds it up in front of Kaless. "This is the key to the big vault at the central bank here in Ylisstol," she presents it proudly. "It unlocks a door that even I can't open with my tricks, which was why I procured it last night by switching it out with a fake one that I made... So what do ya say? If we pull this one off we'll be set for life!" Her smile widens.

Well, that said enough for Tennor to know that Kaless was busy. What to do now...? Lunch. Lunch sounds good.

Malachi headed straight to the Smith with High Hopes in mind. 'I hope I have enough marks,' he thought to himself. 'the dungeons were pretty dry of silver and gold.' He handed over his sword to the Smith, and asked the Burley looking smith woman, if the marks he had was enough to upgrade his sword. The Smith shook her head and handed his word back to him. "What!? This is all I have. Please! Is there anything I can do? I almost got killed in the last dungeon I was in, I just need a better sword, by the Mother please, I'll do anything! Dungeoning and fighting are all I have!" The Smith crossed her arms and smirked. "Anything huh?" She asked, putting her hand on her chiseled chin, looking at Malachi up and down with a smile that sent a shiver up his spine. "Uh... yeah?" Moments later, Malachi bolts out the Smith's Cottage screaming and flailing his arms like a little school girl with the Smith shouting after him, YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING AT! YOU'RE MISSING OUT ON ME, AND YOUR SWORD! COME BACK WHEN YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND!" With that she slammed the door, snapping it off its hinges.

Kaless smirks at the sight of the key. He looks at her and hugs her suddenly, "You're one hell of a person," he said still hugging her. He the let her go and grabbed the key, he flipped it in the air and caught it on the palm of his hand. He looked at Lin'zhay and said, "Tonight."

Lin'zhay is surprised by the sudden hug, but she could feel Kaless' appreciation, and that in turn made her feel good. "Yes. We gotta make sure to do it before they notice their current key is a fake, so the sooner the better," she says and smirks back. "We strike tonight."
